Suggestions for Improving This Blog Welcome!

I’m off to Chicago and Milwaukee for several days (a mix of work and pleasure), so it’s unlikely that I’ll be able to post anything new until next week.

In the meantime, though, I would be grateful for any suggestions that any of you might have for me on how to improve this blog.

Are there any links that I should add? Are there any RPG-related websites or blogs that I should have listed? (Feel free to mention your own sites or blogs, if you they fit with themes of this blog – i.e., ‘old school’ role-playing games, including TSR D&D, Call of Cthulhu, BRP, RuneQuest, MERP, etc., as well as fantasy literature and art in general.)

Can the layout be improved somehow?

Any suggestions that any of you might have for ‘upgrading’ Akratic Wizardry would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Also, here is a very cool picture of Elric by Mark Allen (a.k.a. ‘Marjasall’) to keep this blog looking good until my return.

  1. Layout of your blog is clear and good - everything is perfectly visible. Maybe you should resize your header image, because it isn't centered :-)

  2. Keep doing what you do and don't change a thing (with the possible exception of the header image suggestion if you're OCD about things looking balanced).

  3. If you like you could add my aggregator:

It is a work in progress that started as a way to track the OSR for my own use and has grown.

I'm still honing it down to the scene but it is my first stop every morning to see what is happening in the blogosphere and I get more folks emailing asking to be added everyday.

And yes, you are on there...that's how I came to this post :)

Otherwise, your blog looks great, loads fast and is easy on the eyes. Why mess with perfection.

  4. You can maybe go with one of those wider layouts but the content you post is primo!

  5. I'm back!

Thanks for the suggestions and compliments, guys. I plan to tweak this blog in the near future (including adding the links suggested by Omlet and AD&D Grognard).
